New Leaves

I have my first "college" class on friday. I'm glad to be actually going to school and doing something, I need something more than just work and sleep and reading. Not having any real intellectual challenge was winding me up. I was getting more and more annoyed with my life. So I'm glad, even if it's a city college. Not to sound elitist, though I really am. Every time I think about it I can't get past the part that says "city college". But it's my own fault. I could have gone to cal if I'd done it sooner, or if I was willing to wait. But I couldn't do it then and i can't wait now. So here I am.

I'm gaining control of my room. Benjamin would be proud. All my books are actually in the bookcase and my clothes are hung and folded. My bed is usually made and neither my dresser nor my desk are mounded over with junk. There is still a pile of CDs that I havent found a place for and there isn't any room left in my bookcase if, nay, when I start collecting books again. But other than that, it's nice to have space.
